A slow-moving thunderstorm dumped heavy rain and pea size hail on Artesia, New Mexico on Saturday, May 15, 2021. 1.00″ of rain fell in twenty minutes. Street flooding occurred with the runoff flowing into the normally dry Eagle Draw.
