How many people are vaccinated?



Some 46% of people living in Worcester County are fully vaccinated as of May 25, according to data from the Maryland Department of Health.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they’ve been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Maryland reported 458,680 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 0.49% from the week before.

Worcester County has one of the five highest percentages of their population fully vaccinated in Maryland as of May 25.

The others in the top five are Howard County (56%), Talbot County (51%), Montgomery County (51%) and Frederick County (48%).
