The No. 3 seed Terps (30-17), following a rain delay, will play top-seeded host East Carolina at 8:36 p.m. on Sunday in the regional final, Maryland’s first since 2015. The Terps need to beat the Pirates, ranked 13th in the country, twice to advance to the Super Regionals. If Maryland wins Sunday night, an elimination game is scheduled for Monday.
