Residents eligible for a Pfizer COVID-19 booster are already signing up and receiving their shots after a decision last Friday by the director of the CDC to recommend the additional dose for people aged 65 and older, nursing home residents and those with underlying medical conditions.

Monday, officials announced 1,315 positive cases and 9 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 998,454 cases in the state and 27,346 confirmed and probable deaths.
