Ocean City’s Fourth of July celebrations kicked off a bit sooner than intended.
The town’s downtown beach fireworks show has been canceled after the display was unintentionally set off Sunday morning. The town’s uptown display has also been canceled.
A fireworks company employee suffered minor injuries but refused to be taken to the hospital by paramedics. No beach or boardwalk patrons were injured.
