A 17-year-old boy took himself to the hospital Monday morning after he was injured in a shooting, Baltimore Police announced in a news release Monday. The shooting, one of at least two overnight in the city, is believed to have taken place in Carrollton Ridge.
Police arrived at the hospital just before 1 a.m. Monday to the report of the 17-year-old’s admittance. Southwest District detectives report that the shooting occurred in the 400 block of South Bentalou Street.
Just before 3 a.m., BPD responded to a shooting in Canton. Officers found a 31-year-old male with a gunshot wound in his arm around the 2900 block of O’Donnell Street, which is directly on O’Donnell Square Park.
Both shootings are still being investigated as of 9 a.m. Monday morning.
